In Honor of all Servicemen and Servicewomen

Past, Present, Future

Donors who make charitable contributions will receive an acknowledgement from Cost of Freedom, Inc. and may be eligible for a tax deduction on their income tax return.

We hope to carry the banner that shares the themes we want carried forward to future generations: freedom is not free; expect to win; we must never forget; leave no man behind; hard work gets you there, but integrity keeps you there.

In closing, let me share with you the core values of both the United States Navy and Marine Corps and how we define each of these, as we have learned through experiences by our returning Soldiers and Marines.

HONOR
 — doing the right thing no matter what the personal consequences

COURAGE — in spite of danger or fear, doing the right thing no matter what the personal consequences

COMMITMENT — the act of doing the right thing no matter what the personal consequences

I thank and appreciate all those that have honorably served our great country and welcome those of you that would like to participate in the future of The Cost of Freedom, Inc.

A Note from our leader

The purpose of the Cost of Freedom weekend is to honor returning Service Men and Women from Iraq and Afghanistan, and to keep the memory alive of those who did not return.

Together we acknowledge "all gave some, but some gave all." We owe it to the generations that succeed us to keep their memory alive.

There is truth to the adage a Soldier is not dead until he is forgotten. We must never forget them and it is our responsibility to have the attitude of gratitude for the selfless efforts of our armed forces.

It is our desire to encourage and "make a difference" in the lives of those that have fought for the freedom we often take for granted.
